What cookies are
Cookies are small files of information that a website stores in your browser. They serve to make the website work correctly, to remember your preferences and, if you authorise it, to analyse in aggregate form how the site is used. They do not harm your device or access personal information on your hard drive.
Your consent
The first time you visit the website we show you a cookie banner where you can accept all of them, reject them (except technical ones, which are essential) or configure them by category. We do not install cookies that require consent until you give it. You can change your decision whenever you wish from the "Configure cookies" link in the footer.
Types of cookies we use
Technical or necessary cookies (always active)
These are essential for the website to function and to remember your own privacy preferences. They are exempt from consent under the regulations. For example, we store your cookie choice in your browser so as not to ask you again on every visit. They do not personally identify the user for tracking purposes.
In the team's restricted access area (/admin) we also use a session cookie (di_admin) to maintain the authentication of the person logging in. It lasts 8 hours, or up to 30 days if the person accessing expressly checks the "Remember this device" option. It is a strictly necessary technical cookie, with no advertising or tracking purposes.
In our tools suite (tools.dominainternet.com) we likewise use a first-party session cookie (di_session) to keep you logged in. It lasts up to 30 days if you check "Remember me on this device" (8 hours otherwise), is HttpOnly and Secure, is deleted when you log out, and is also strictly necessary, with no advertising or tracking.
Analytics cookies (require your consent)
If you accept them, we use Google Analytics to obtain aggregated statistics on the use of the site (most visited pages, time spent, type of device, etc.). This information helps us improve the website. You can check how Google processes this data in its privacy policy.
We currently do not use advertising or commercial profiling cookies. If we were to incorporate them in the future, we would update this policy and the consent banner.
Third-party cookies
Some functions rely on third-party services that may install their own cookies, with their own policies:
- Google (Analytics, and Calendar/Meet if you book a meeting): Google cookie policy.
- Social networks we link to (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn): governed by their respective cookie and privacy policies.
How to manage or delete cookies
In addition to our "Configure cookies" panel, you can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Here are the guides for the most common ones:
If you reject or delete cookies you will still be able to browse, although some functionalities may be limited.
